A STORY WHICH WILL NEVER BE FINISHED 2.0 (2020 – 2021)

A story which will never be finished…2.0 is a movement theatre & visual arts cross-over performance, loosely based on Russian symbolist writer Leonid Andreyev’s story written in 1909. The devised narrative is centred around a protagonist symbolising a New Woman who yearns for a fairer, more equal and utopian state of being. She confronts her need for freedom by breaking off personal, social and political constraints creating her own revolution in the process.

Teaming up once again with dancer Klaudia Wittmann and for the first time with cinematographer / film-make Arturo Bandinelli, Lara re-imagined this piece for 2020, as a live performance and video installation.
